The prime objective of the banner message was to promote COVID-19 vaccination to the community by utilizing sports popularity. The event happened on 8th October 2021 at 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Uhuru Stadium in Temeke, Dar es Salaam.
Human Trafficing
To launch the “HURU” (meaning free) an anti-human trafficking campaign through which
African Lyon FC aims to leverage the popularity of Tanzanian sports and culture to promote
this cause and foster a generation that no longer tolerates human trafficking activities in
Tanzania.
African Lyon FC (ALFC) Organisation is developing a programme of safe and clean water provision– Hydration for Education (Maji ni Elimu) project described in the enclosed concept note. This project is intended to sensitize pupils of Tanzanian primary schools to the importance of drinking safe and clean water.
Raising awareness of environmental management and climate change among children is of paramount importance. Teaching children about the significance of planting trees instills a sense of responsibility toward the environment. Trees are essential for air purification, carbon sequestration, and maintaining biodiversity. By actively participating in tree planting, children learn to protect and nurture the natural world and are equipped with a tangible tool for mitigating climate change, empowering them to be part of the climate change solution
